It is difficult to know how to and what to build that improves and solves problems.
It is even harder to focus, concentrate, and collaborate to build, since it is easier to tear down.
Unfortunately, we too often gravitate towards tearing down and find it gratifying to do so.
Our precious time and energy is wasted making mud, throwing it at others, and getting covered in it.
We compete by making the larger tower of mud so we can destroy our neighbor.
The task of the Building Common Ground is to struggle and lead the way to instead make bricks from this mud and build a strong foundation upon which to solve problems.
